Fishing Tips

Important Tips:
Utilizing a barbless hooks and catch and release policy is not sufficient to ensure the survival of your fish. Releasing your fish in good condition is paramount and the following guidelines will help increase the likelihood that your fish will survive to be caught another day.

1. Use the proper fishing equipment and line. This will minimize the required time to land the fish, thereby avoiding fighting the fish to exhaustion.
2. Land the fish only when necessary; judge the size of the fish and whether you would like to record the moment with a photo and/or determine the weight/size of your trophy. If you are not going to net the fish you can avoid removing the fish from the water by bring the it close to the boat and remove the barbless hook
3. If you have landed your trophy, minimize the time the fish is out of water. The longer a fish is out of water the higher mortality.
4. Wet your hands before holding the fish.
5. Do not squeeze the fish.
6. Avoid contact with the gills & eyes.
We also limit the number of guests to 10 each trip, as a result, there is very little fishing pressure as, only a special few are rewarded with this unforgettable experience. We are positive that you will appreciate and enjoy the intimacy of our small groups.
