ITINERARY IN BRIEF
Day 1: Flight to PPLL
Enjoy a light breakfast on the shores of Great Slave Lake to prior to boarding your one hour and twenty minute flight north to Peterson’s Point Lake Lodge. Then get excited as you fly 200+ miles north of Yellowknife, over the treeline to the barrens; landing just shy of the Arctic Circle, the flight itself rewards you with breath-taking views. Upon arrival you will be greeted by members of the PPLL Team, and after an orientation to the lodge and nourishing lunch, we don’t waste any time - get your gear ready - the rest of the day on fishing for trophy lake trout and arctic grayling – as will be the days thereafter until the last day of your trip.
Last Day: Return to Yellowknife
Have a friendly discussion as you review of the ‘score’ board and any legendary stories over breakfast before you pack up to board your return flight to Yellowknife. A member of the PPLL Team will meet you at the float base to provide you with transportation to airport or hotel. If your travel arrangements allow time for lunch at one of the local restaurants or gift/souvenir shopping we’re happy to do our best to accommodate your interests.
Please note that this trip is 100% weather dependent and adjustment to flights and daily activities may occur as a result of inclement weather and/or other uncontrollable factors.
"As a first-time 'guest' I left as a friend. Many thanks to everyone who made this trip a memorable experience. The camaraderie, the beauty of the surroundings, the skill of the guides and Tanya's outstanding cuisine combined to make this week truly outstanding. Did I mention the fishing?? Fabulous in every respect. Thanks to all."
